The holiday home LE1739

1991 – 200 years after this mountain farmhouse was built in the hamlet of La Coste-Haute, we found our first dream house. The roof almost collapsed in some places, lamps hung from the ceiling, but there was no electricity in the house and many funny anecdotes. Nevertheless my parents Gisele and Hans bought the house. In further steps, with a lot of attention to detail, this blank became a beautiful homely home in the Cevenol style. The old magnanery was converted into two new bedrooms, the grape cellar into a vaulted bathroom. Even my grandfather, who was is 70 years old, was still very active here, so his dream and his work are also alive in this house. Already in the 90s we had a holiday home rental and could welcome many guests in La-Coste. 

2001- Conversion of the old part into three more large bedrooms incl. a large living room and bathroom. 

2006- due to weakening demand in seasonal letting, the house was divided horizontally into two flats and handed over to annual letting. 

2022- Renovation of the house. Our aim is to reintroduce the large half of the house with separate entrance to the holiday home rental business, in order to offer our guests the hospitality and breathtaking views of the Cévennes once again.
